A TRIBUTE TO KEN RAND

I have closed the gap below the side of the canopy with foam and covered that with Super Fil. After the curing of the Super Fil, The area was sanded, shaped and glassed.
Here the canopy has been partially installed. On the forward edge, the canopy was glassed to the deck with carbon fiber cloth. The gull wing door section has also been cut from the canopy.
This shows the inside area where the foam was installed. This was actually done with a two part urethane foam.
The passenger side of the canopy.
